A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University (BFA 1966) Steve's children's books include Scaredy Dog, published by Alfred A Knopf. His "grown up" songs include Here "Comes The Freedom Train" recorded by both Merle Hagard and Dolly Parton, to commemorate America's bicentennial,"The Lady In The Harbor" for the Emmy award winning documentary by Ken Burn's, The Statue of Liberty, and "My Small Town" for the award winning official video of the Calgary Winter Olympics. When not writing songs and recording, Steve spends his time playing golf and performing his songs to children and their families.
