Details:
"STARFX" is that fix we all looked for in rock and roll-back in the day.
"STARFX-LIVE-1975" brings back the wall pounding-ball busting-womanizing-weed smoke'in-whiskey drink'in-ass slapp'in-leather wearing-guitar smack'in-money grab'in-under-rated bad boys from Bridgeport CT. After 30 years, an 8-track reel was found-fired up, mixed down and turned loose. "STARFX-LIVE-1975" brings home the bacon. This cd was recorded over the summer of 1975 in Shelton, Connecticut. It was a great summer for ass-kick rock and roll-or "hard rock" if you please. Pinecrest has played host to the likes of Blue Oyster Cult-Rainbow-even Michael Bolton-who once was "Boloton"-and actually used to rock! Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer-Johnny Winter-Ian Hunter & the late great Mick Ronson. "STARFX", was just about peaking, and were recording shows for a press package that never came to be,-until today. It was the summer of fog machines-strobe lights-drum solos-chicks you could bang and not have to worry about death, nickel bags, Qualudes-Marshall stacks-vans-moonrock-8 track tape players that needed a book of matches jammed under the cart in order for them to work. If any of this brings back sweet memorys-"STARFX-LIVE-1975" is the cd for you. So-break out the bong and order a pizza!-The boys are back in town!
