Details:
I was born in Washington, D.C. My parents moved around a lot, so I was constantly changing schools. One way I had of overcoming the "new guy" thing was my music. In just a couple months I would know lots of people through music and this helped.

In college, I sang in the choir. One day I was asked to sing in a smaller version of the choir (8 people) called the "Madrigal Singers". Soon after that, I was asked to sing in a new recording group called "Otto's Organization". It was named after and led by our choir director, Otto Mielentz. The interesting thing was that Jimmy Webb wrote the songs. Jimmy later went on to write "McArthur Park", "By the time I get to Phoenix", "Wichita Lineman", "Galveston" and tons of other hits for Glen Campbell, Richard Harris, Fifth Dimension, etc. I was inspired! This guy was awesome and I caught the bug. I started writing and still do today.

I did the album "Inside Thunder, Outside Laughing" for 20th Century Fox. It was the top album pick for a new comer. The fun part was getting to play with Hal Blaine, Freddy Tackett, Max Bennett, Larry Knecktle and other great musicians.
I've written for:
Julio Iglesias - "Love is on our side again"
Ray Charles - "Wish you were here tonight"
Ray did a solo performance of this song on the 1984 Grammies and received the only standing ovation of the night. It was the title song of his new album, and he did his first music video to "Wish you were here tonight". It was quite an honor.
Sheena Easton - "Wish you were here tonight"
Sheena heard Ray perform this song at the Grammies and decided to do it also.
B.J. Thomas - "Love is on our side again"
Shannon - "Love goes all the way" (Title song)
Ray Coniff Singers "Magic Pillow"
Night Stalker (Movie Theme "Just Keeps on Comin") NOT the Darrin McGavin movie
Dick Clark Productions documentary - "Takin' the world by storm"
Dayton Department Store's (commercial) - "Christmas Love"
...and others.
