SOLACE OF THE EYES is an adult contemporary format debut CD featuring Tadia, a powerful and elegant female vocalist who sings soft jazz, new age, gospel, spoken word, pop ballad and to operatic with equal grace.

Songs on this CD come from the actual lyrics of the poetic works of the famous 19-century Persian mystic poet, Tahirih.

Only recently translated into English, Tadia has taken these 150 year old poems and transformed them into expressive lyrics, combined with soulful music composed and arranged by award-winning musician Ellis Hall, whose gold and platinum album credits include Kenny G. and Tower of Power.

Tadia is recognized as the first to publicly dramatize the historic works of Tahirih, known as "Joan of Arc of the Eastern world." Since 1996 Tadia has been bringing the words of the 19-century Eastern woman mystic poet to life in song and drama.

Tadia has been touring "A Woman and Her Words" The Story of Tahirih around the world.

Many of the songs on "Solace of the Eyes" are from that theatrical music drama based on the life of th woman who is known for being the first woman to tear away her face veil in a society where this was prohibited.

SOLACE OF THE EYES features 13 songs based on the poetry of Tahirih whose message of social justice and human rights continues today.
