A Place to Go was inspired by the research of Dr. Carla Sofka of Siena College. The song honors the memories of individuals who have died in tragic events, including those members of the Siena family who died on September 11, 2001. It serves as a tribute to the museums and memorials where loved ones and strangers go to remember those who lost their lives in these events, to share stories of their lives, and to preserve the history of these events. It also recognizes the importance of providing a place to share stories of survivorship and hope.
Proceeds from sales of this CD will benefit museums that memorialize these types of tragedies.
