The Tropical Flavor Band has been playing the East Coast and surrounding area for the past five years. The band is unique in that it blends the smooth island sound of the Caribbean steel drum with conventional instruments.

Deborah, who plays lead steel drum says, ÂWe call ourselves Tropical Flavor because we like to be whatever your taste calls forÂ. Because the band is so diverse you'll find them playing for a wide spectrum of audiences  reggae, Calypso, and Latin for an international festival, beach and rock for a pool party, jazz at the country club, or classical music on the orchestra stage.

Island Christmas is their first CD and was inspired by a dream  a dream that caused one ambitious band member to wake in the middle of the night with the idea of making a Christmas CD and the determination to outline the songs and the CD format into the wee hours of the morning.
