From the start â Hannah & The Bloodlinesâ have been able to successfully mix experimental with mainstream. Their first single âNobodies Fault But Mineâ aired on independent radio stations throughout the country, and even Europe! They have the improvisational skills of jazz, the hooks of pop, and the raw energy of rock., enabling them to produce an impressive live show that includes intricate jams and melodies not found on the recordings.

âThis band makes you feel like your floating, then hits you hard with the energy of the unexpected. They are familiar and yet completely unique at the same time.â

This April the band released their first album âFar From The Treeâ. It is sure to be one of the new sounds coming out of New England. With such players as Stephen Gaspar (guitar), who at the young age of 21 has already shared the stage with musical legend John Blackwell (drummer for Justin Timberlake and Prince) and pop icons such as The Click5., Ryan Broderick (drums) who has been playing with blues heroes such as Sam âBluesmanâ Taylor in New York since he was in high school. Shaun Munday holds down the low end on bass, helping to give the band a dash of soul. Hannah Sumner inspires most of the melodies and lyrics, and their latest edition Jeremy Vovcsko on saxophone , who has played with legends such as Meâshell Ndegeochello, only propels the musical improvisations deeper during their live performances.
The band has already embraced audiences on television (PlumTV), radio throughout New England, and has been constantly in the top 20 in experimental on ourstage.com, an online radio that fans vote for best song. So keep an ear open to hear the new sound coming out of Boston.
