Lyle Michaud has been playing piano for nearly 15 years, and has enjoyed every minute of it. At age five, his parents got an old piano for free, hoping to see if any of the kids would take to it. Surprisingly, Lyle started picking out tunes by ear, and his passion for music took off from there.

After having lessons on and off for a number of years, Lyle received his most valuable musical education from Daniel Weiser, a Dartmouth College music instructor. Under Mr. Weiser, he was trained as a classical concert pianist, until he shifted his focus to composition.

Lyle has written dozens of songs and fragments, ranging from classical to country, spiritual to pop. This CD contains a selection of these originals, along with several recognizable classics, all his own arrangements. He currently resides in the quaint town of Charlestown, NH, and is the piano accompanist at a local elementary school, where he also teaches private piano lessons. Over the years he has had church, wedding, studio, and theatre experience.
