Some 40 years after Friar Tuck and the Monks became a western Kansas legend, the band reunited for a concert at their 2008 induction into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame. It was a magical night as the band took the stage at the old Red Dog Inn in Lawrence, Kansas. After 40 years of silence, Friar Tuckâs Music Machine, was about to generate some serious wattage again. If you were there you heard the distinctive psychedelic soul sound that brought crowds together all over the Midwest in the 1960âs.
