As lead singer for British band CLASSIX NOUVEAUX in the 80s, SAL SOLO toured the world, giving concerts in 30 countries, and achieving hits such as IS IT A DREAM (best remembered in the UK), and GUILTY (still occasionally seen on MTV or VH1 Gold). After CLASSIX NOUVEAUX he hit the UK Top 20 with SAN DAMIANO, which was also a popular Number One in Poland. In 1991 he began to release specifically Christian albums. In 1999 he left the UK and relocated to Chicago, where he continues to this day doing large youth events. WE CRY JUSTICE! marks a departure from previous work, both in the world music style, and in the social justice themes.
