Clay Martin â Songwriter/Singer/Musician â His lyrics magically blend spiritual messages along with eclectic pop rock beats that deliver a very refreshing and original sound. Clay began his music career as a drummer and was successful not only as a professional drummer, but also in writing and arranging a number of his bands songs and opening shows for many national acts in the past. Since his transition from drummer to songwriter/singer, Clay has written and produced his first CD, âChryst13 - Looking for Some Angelsâ. This CD consists of spiritual and uplifting lyrics mixed with diverse rhythm styles that make his first solo effort appealing and unique. In addition, Clay has written and produced several singles in the rock/pop rock genre that have gained recognition. Most recently, his single âCrazyâ, received runner up status in the Song of the Year - Song and Lyric Competition â March 2006 and Most Original in Pop Rock, in the GarageBand Songwriters Contest, week of 7Nov2005. Another single, âCome on overâ, received Track of the Day in the GarageBand Songwriters Contest, 5Nov2005 in the Power Pop category.
