Co.ffayâs smash second mini-album offers the memberâs great sound backed by their proven skills. Itâs an aggressive album where they try to expand the category of âjazzâ.
Co.ffay is a Japanese jazz unit of the new generation formed in the summer of 2006 by Kohei OTA, a jazz drummer active in the Tokyo area. Always pushing the limits artistically and creatively, Co.ffay has produced unique original material and has been regularly performing in clubs around Tokyo to wide acclaim. They released their first album "Uzuneuro-Museum" (UZU RECORDS) in May 2007, a CD which was first conceived as a small musical museum with tunes as artworks on exhibit. Co.ffay keeps things fresh by collaborating with unlikely cohorts like street dancers and bebop dancers.
