Details:
Curerbell are a three piece from Llanelli / Swansea in south Wales. For the past seven years Curerbell have played and recorded some of the most basic, yet anthemic songs in the indie arena and continue to gain new fans world wide... Limited edition and self-funded EP This Used To Be A Happy Place was recorded in June 2005 working with producer Tim Hamill and drummer Aled Richards - of former welsh chart toppers Catatonia. Acts Curerbell have supported include; David Devant And His Spirit Wife, Jeff Klein, Fields and Hard-Fi. Curerbell's last demo Waiting For The World was featured on BBC Radio Ones unsigned website, getting praise from Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman. Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson has also expressed his fondness of Curerbells music. Curerbell's sound is fresh, anthemic, melodious, catchy music, just how music should be. Comparisons have been made to the likes of Travis, Coldplay and Ash, which is fine, but the sound and style of Curerbell is distictive and unique. Following in the footsteps of welsh greats such as Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, and now filling the space that Catatonia left.
