I grew up in Chicago where I started apprenticing at Rainbow Bridge Recording Studios out of high school. I worked as staff producer, writer and second engineer. I decided to get a higher education so I attended Columbia College. I studied music production and arranging. Back at Rainbow Bridge, after about a year and a half, I was conducting and soliciting my own sessions. From these sessions came two locally popular albums.

I began writing and recording a worthy amount of songs so I packed my bags and took off for the East Coast. There, I was introduced to Fran Kowalski and Cliff Wright of Sound Creations in Trenton, N.J. They are both producers as well as engineers and aimed me into a singer/songwriter capacity. It was unique and stylistic. Under Fran, I produced 2 demos which earned me local recognition. This endeavor sparked interest from New York music houses leading to work as a singer on a couple of commercial demos. Did I mention I sing?... I sing. I started performing some solo gigs and after 2 years I took a year off and wrote some new material.

In 1992, I co-founded Kombo Zoom, an improvisational World Beat band. With Kombo Zoom I was able to develop my talent of blending various "groove-type" cultural music stylings like; Latin Rhythms mixed with Reggae, blues, African & Brazillian melodies and syncopations, and at times even a complete departure -- country blues. The band became very successful and performed for Amnesty International.

After being accepted into the Crossroads Showcase out of Memphis, TN, I moved to Austin, TX because all I was hearing about was the SXSW showcase and all it had to offer. I have gigged steadily as a solo performer and played with the band Troublemaker before working on my debut CD, Let My Love Inside.
