On January 23d, 2009 Draculatron releases thier brand new ep We Are Dead Ocean. The new suite of songs is a concept piece that tells the story of two lovers trying to survive after the destruction of the United States at the hands of an shadowy organization known as "The Dead Ocean Society". Sex! Zombies! Prescription medications! The two aren't prepared for the horrors that begin to unfold as everything they know starts to unravel and the truth becomes all too clear.

Draculatron's slick electro-pop sound has been fed through walls of distortion, chilly synths, and pushed into harder rock territory with the help of brand new band members Erica Zalatan (Guitar) and Brian Premo (Bass). Guest players also include Anthony Ford (live drumming on glam stomper "Black Roar") and Mr. Harleyhimself (bass on the viciously paranoid "Glass Kingdoms"). The searing six song set hits you so fast and hard that by the time you've reached the apocalyptic one-two punch finale of "Muscle" and "Malibu", you'll think you've barely had a chance to blink.
