The Songs of Sachavacay are a small sampling of the thousands of such sacred tunes that permeate Amazonia. They are often âreceivedâ through experiences with the most potent of the master teaching plants, Ayahuasca, within which resides a spirit of magnificent and divine intelligence. Such songs are sung in plant medicine ceremonies, âprescribedâ in the Amazon to heal certain ailments or lighten the weight of sorrow or sadness. They can offer strength, protection, solace and healing to one who is disheartened or searching.
