David John Hensman - has been a Canadian singer, song writer and musician since High School. It was there he began to write and perform with his band âFish Tankâ and led worship at his home Church. He started Last Harvest Band (1980 to 1983) joined âAlpha Omega Bandâ (1986), a rock outreach ministry after college and began to pastor in 1987.

In 1992 Dave started a home Bible study with eight friends that grew into a number of Calvary Chapel churches that focused on authentic worship, teaching the bible and the freedom of the Holly Spirit. He also emphasized fostering a creative community for musicians and artists. Dave contributed several songs to various worship projects during that season yet spent most of his musical energy encouraging and mentoring others.

In 2006 he released âThese Are The Daysâ, The album received some critical acclaim and was nominated for a Canadian Gospel Music Award for best worship CD in 2007. He was also nominated for Best Gospel Recording from the Canadian East Coast Music Awards 2007.

His new CD âFind Meâ or âBlessed Are The Lost Onesâ is being released in early 2009. It is an expression of his desire to mentor and work with the Next Generation of worship leaders and artists. The Album features songs co written by young artists, Travis Thuro, Jimmy Robeson as well as his friend Brian Doerksen. The album also features the guest vocal work of Tim Neufeld (Starfield), Becky Sukko, Philip Janz (Authentic Productions), Brian Doerksen (Integrity Music), Teresa Trask and Becky, Brittney and Dee Hensman.

Today, Dave is the president of âNex Gen World Leadershipâ a leadership development ministry focused on training young leaders. His Kingdom focused business; Big Sky Ventures has three components: Big Sky Management, Big Sky Music, and Big Sky Motivational Presentations. In 2003 he purchased one of BCâs leading property management companies âTeamwork Property Managementâ that now enables him to fund missions around the world. He pastors and teaches bi-weekly at âThe Bridgeâ, a church he planted along with three friends; Dean Richmond, Brian Doerksen and Irv Esau.

He makes his home in Mission, BC where he lives at âIvy Cottageâ with his wife Dee and their two daughters.
