About The Queen
A mother of two children, 13 and 11, an elementary school teacher and a storyteller. She has years of experience in bringing joy and life through reading. Queen Octavia believes in introducing children to the love of books and reading at the earliest possible age. Studies have proven that children understand language even before they are born. She enjoys entertaining children and parents with theatrical readings and performances. "The light of joy that shines from a child's eyes as I pick their favorite book is one of the things that keep me motivated to write and perform for children everywhere," says Queen Octavia.

She has a special bond with children and books which is displayed each time she reads.

Currently, Queen Octavia is writing a series of books that not only encourage young children to learn to read, but also helps them through the challenging stages of childhood. These lovely illustrated books tackle the milestones that children are faced with on a daily basis such as going to the doctor, potty training, fear of the dark and making new friends. These are just a few of the subjects Queen Octavia touches on in her stories, helping us through our daily parenting challenges.

The Queen is currently available for special events, schools, library and birtday parties.
