Rik has been performing as a solo artist and band member on the New York Metro area music scene since the late 80âs. A singer-songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, his passion for music always has him involved with multiple projects.

The individual tracks for this album, his first solo release, were each recorded as solo performances with the lead vocal and acoustic guitar played live and overdubbed embellishments added later. In addition to guitars and vocals for the album, he also played mandolin, lap steel, electric piano, harmonica, and sitar. The album was recorded and produced by Juano Lippi.
