"Waiting For You" is Ricky Salinas, with Kat on vocals for six songs. Ricky has played in many bands since he was eighteen years old. including,"China White","HotRocks","Attack","Delerious","NRG","NRG3" He has played lead guitar and sang in cover and original bands ranging from country to pop to rock, to metal to blues. He started writing songs when he was Fifteen years old. he has written over two hundred. He studied recording in School and by himself. he decided to demo his songs by recording them himself. "Waiting For You" is his first effort showcasing his songwriting, musicianship,and recording skills.

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and as most young girls did, Kat loved to listen to the radio. At an early age, she had KFRC on all night blaring from a cheap plastic radio until her father would pound on the wall and tell her to turn the radio off. Kat's parents enjoyed the sound of the Big Bands and had many records Kat learned to sing along with. Later, as a teen she listened to Dusty Street, blasted KTIM and KMEL and fell in love with Robert Plant. Rock and Soul were her main interests at the time. Later, she appreciated Country music and went to as many Willie Nelson concerts as she could. She sang for a while with a local band called Identity Crisis whose members included her ex husband who encouraged her to sing. Kat has a real passion for writing and has several novels she is currently working on.




"I started out doing a song demo, to get other performers to record my songs. I picked out 12 out of the first 25 songs in my song books.I would say about 95 percent of the songs I write are from personal experiences.All 12 songs on Sweet Kisses are about me, or things in my life. I recorded them all in my home studio (some professional studios have a microphone costing more than all of my recording gear combined) I recorded Kats vocals in the family room of her home. I didn't use any computers to make this CD. No pitch or time correction was used. I wanted it to be as honest as I could. Only "What's Up With You", "In Need",and "Ring Ring Ring" have electric instruments in them except for the bass and a little drum machine I have. I have always thought that the song is the most important thing. If you listen to a good song it can be from some one singing a cappella, to a full piece orchestra.It doesn't matter. I am Married to a wonderful woman, Angela. I work Full time in Produce at the Woodlands Market in Kentfield CA. My friend Troy West helped me with the graphics and photos.My nephew Vitor(in Brasil) helped me crop the Car photo.My friend Rolando Torres lent me his Gibson songwriter guitar for some of the songs( even though I accidently erased 12 of the tracks.Damn)Squeezing time to make this CD was very hard. I did my best I hope you like it"
