The 2nd in a series of compilations from Bowery Poetry Club Records, â&â unearths more live gems from the BPC archives. Highlighting the depth of the legendary BPCâs programming with tracks from some of the cityâs most cutting edge musicians and important voices in poetry and spoken word, â&â gives listeners a taste of what to expect from BPC Records in the coming months. The opener, âGet On, Go On,â by the Brooklyn-based Lucius, is part of a full, multi-tracked set recorded at the club, the entirety of which will be released in the summer of 2009, with more live sets from a variety of poets and musicians to follow. And be sure to check out the track âChocolate Kissesâ by the Boweryâs very own, Sean T. Hanratty and The Mighty Mighty, a preview of BPC Records first full-length studio album.

The Bowery Poetry Club takes pride in the wildly diverse nature of its programming, and BPC Records hopes to bring the listener close to the fertile creative climate of one of the last spots of its kind in NYC. â&,â like âThis/That + The Otherâ before it, does just that.
