This Album was written over the course of several weeks in the City of Trujillo, Peru. I was just playing some chords back and forth with my little voice recorder and making beat boxing noises, and the idea sort of clicked. I have been traveling for the last 4-5 years of my life, and sometimes it just hits me hard what is actually happening to me. These songs describes what I feel at times, and how hard it has been to tell my family and friends how much I love them, or at least put it into words the way they would be able to understand. Some of these songs speak of my time here in Peru and some of the things I have come to feel. The world is wide, there is much to see. The sky is big, and can eat you whole, but nothing really can compare to being close to someone you love. I picture coming home from a long journey and just being with loved ones again. I have been very blessed. Thank you for all of your love and support.
These songs were recorded in different places all around the world. It started in Peru⦠and was sent to many of my friends I have met in the last couple of years. They collaborated and added a little part, and sent sounds back to me. This is what WE came up with, all of which was accomplished without having a spoken conversation or actually seeing each other in person.
I hope you all enjoy. Thank you all for helping with the songs, and listening. I will see you soon!
