⢠Mamiso has created KETSA in 2003. He comes from Madagascar and is singing his original writings and compositions â he is the co-founder in 1995 of SENGE (Malagasy polyphony). This band won the « Découvertes RFI 1999 » prize, issued 3 albums (Arembelo in 1998, Fatedra in 2003 et Gasikara in 2004) and toured in Europe as well as in the rest of the world.

⢠Mamiso also toured with RICKY (malagasy singer), the TAMAE band in Belgium, SALEM TRADITION (Sega, Bourbon Island) and with Daniel WARRO (a singer from Bourbon. He also took part to the GLOBAL VOCAL MEETING band and creation of the Magic Voice album in 2003. He has been working with MIKIDACHE (Mayotte, Comore ) since 2003 and with SEHENO since 2006. He just founded the VINA Trio.

⢠Mamiso is also leading polyphonic singing and percussions workshops both for children and adults, in various places throughout the world.

⢠He likes to make people discover his country and share the emotion brought through his music.

⢠To enhance the Malagasy culture, he plays the guitar but also many traditional instruments such as the Kabosy, the sodina, the valiha.

⢠The Malagasy culture is born from a wide ethnic mixture. It is thanks to this diversity and to other cultures musical backgrounds that Mamiso gets inspiration for his music.

⢠« Mamiso » fonde le groupe KETSA en 2003. Originaire de Madagascar, cet auteur â compositeur - interprète fut le co-fondateur du groupe SENGE (polyphonies malgaches) en 1995. Cet ensemble devint lauréat des « Découvertes RFI 1999 », réalisa trois albums (Arembelo en 1998, Fatedra en 2003 et Gasikara en 2004) et se produisit aussi bien en Europe quâen Amérique, en Afrique et dans lâOcéan indien.

⢠Mamiso a également tourné avec RICKY (chanteur malagasy), les groupes TAMAE (polyphonie malagasy, Belgique), SALEM TRADITION (Sega, Réunion), ainsi quâavec Daniel WARRO (chanteur réunionnais). ⢠Mamiso anime aussi des ateliers de chants polyphoniques et de percussions, pour les enfants ainsi que pour les adultes, en Europe, au Brésil et aux USA.

⢠Il aime faire découvrir son pays et partager les émotions que procure la Musique. Pour valoriser la culture malgache, il sâaccompagne à la guitare mais également avec plusieurs instruments traditionnels : le «Kabosy», le «Sodina» et la «Valiha». La culture malgache est née dâun grand brassage ethnique. Fort de ce brassage, Mamiso sâinspire des différentes traditions musicales de son pays, et puise également dans les diverses influences du monde pour créer ses propres compositions. Il chante et raconte la vie à Madagascar avec douceur, chaleur et ferveur.
