(Roland St.John Hanneman)
Biography
John St.John (a.k.a Roland Hanneman), studied music and the 'cello at the Cambridge college of Arts in England, served military duty in the Coldstream Guards and continued his career playing in bands aboard Miami cruise ships.
In America, he worked for Miamiâs WINZâs radio stations as their production director and writing numerous jingles led to the establishment of his own recording studio TRAKS and later, St.John & Friends, a production company that he still has today.
Apart from the many awards for his audio advertising work, his credits include work for The Miami Sound Machine, Mary Hart, Jon Secada, Clint Holmes, Jimmy Buffet, The Countdown Kids, Celtic Ladies, The Orlando Philharmonic and the 101 Strings.
As well as his own albums, he has written music for two Orange Bowl Shows, Dimension, Valentino, Sound Ideas music libraries and NOAA films. With sales topping over 6 million and more than 1,000 works published, John has either composed and/or produced over 241 records and CDs.
As a performer, his favorites CDs are âAfrika - song of the tribal spiritâ and âAmazon - songs of the mighty riverâ.
