Sarah hails from Staten Island, New York. A classically trained actress, she studied at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Sheâs making her singing debut with 2 songs she wrote and recorded titled âMiscellaneousâ and âLike A Movieâ. The song âMiscellaneousâ describes her experience of being Black and White in America. Although she wrote the song years ago, the inspiration to record and shoot a music video for it came from listening to President Obamaâs inauguration day speech! The song âLike a Movieâ Sarah wrote after drinking some White Zinfandel and watching the movie Jerry Maguire on a Saturday night at home! The song was recorded by accident, she went to the studio and worked with producer Dr. OO of Sky Fly entertainment where she was originally only supposed to record âMiscellaneousâ, but sang âLike a Movieâ just to warm up, and after hearing the playback, knew right away the song had to be recorded as well! Both songs are passionate, thoughtful and catchy. Sarahâs golden lungs are ready to be heard!
