Insex Music is a very unique band that combines Alternative Rock with British Pop/Rock. Influences include: the Beatles, Radiohead, the Cure, Queen, the Cult, the Who, Pink Floyd, and Ben Folds. Formed in 1999, the band self-released their debut album, Dream...Just Never Sleep the very next year. The album brought together dark songwriting with catchy hooks and introspective lyrics. Insex Music played its first show in August of 2000 with a 4 person line-up: Mark Tortorici - vocals, piano, guitar, and bass. Tom Chavez - Guitars. Andy Brannon - Drums. Toby Yim - Guitars. The band's music is primarily composed by Mark Tortorici, along with contributions from Tom Chavez, Nicholas Barry (who joined the band in 2002), and good friend Cory Bushman. After playing a string of shows recently, the band took time to finish recording their current "Best of" album. New CD release parties and shows will follow. Already new songs and ideas are being worked on for a new album after this. Stay tuned...
