Alex Robotham is a 15-year-old singer/songwriter from Sydneyâs northern beaches.
In 2007 she won a Battle of the Bands Competition in Queensland with her song âNot Coming Homeâ and in 2008 her song âGet Over Itâ made the top 25 at the Australian Songwriting Associationâs annual competition.
Following this Alex independently released her first EP âInstead of Homeworkâ and recorded her first studio album âFree Therapyâ in early 2009 at Moonlight Studios in Sydney.
The Courier Mail Newspaper in Brisbane has described her sound as âa mix of pop princess Gabriella Cilmi and Suzanne Vegaâ.
Alex is currently gigging regularly around Sydney at venues such as the Excelsior Hotel Glebe, Lewisham Hotel, Harold Park Hotel and Kellyâs on King in Newton as well as appearing at market days and festivals on Sydneyâs northern beaches.
