Ron Holloway is a (mostly) acoustic instrumentalist, playing a combination of folk-influenced gypsied-jazz guitar and other instruments. Growing up in the hills of Tennessee during the â60âs and â70âs, with all the rock and roll media influences of that era sitting on top a foundation of mountain, gospel and country-western music, his music emerges as a mix of mood and energy. Later world and national influences from African to Cajun add hints of movement and spirit, and the results range from dreamtrance to euphoria, from peace and harmony flowing into the soul to dance energy moving the toes.
