Specializing in all aspects of voice production (both speaking and singing), Judy Armstrong began her Speech Arts training at the age of seven, and singing training at age thirteen. She was a consistent winner of awards, grants and honors programs throughout western Canada. In her early twenties, Judy was awarded a Canada Council scholarship, which enabled her to take an in-depth Speech Arts program with one of the worldâs foremost teachers, the late Eleanor Stuart at study acting at the National Theatre School in Montreal, Canada. Judy began piano lessons at the age of 5 and completed both Western Board and Royal Conservatory examinations. Her studies of the theory and history of music with these institutions, her work in university and her professional theatrical career experience has provided the essential groundwork for the music writing that Judy is doing now.

Gifted with perfect pitch and a beautiful singing voice, Judy has acted as vocal arranger, vocal director and coach for numerous musicals and specialty workshops. She is a national member of CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers), NSA (National Speakers Association) and IFFPS (International Federation For Professional Speakers). Judy expertly weaves universal truths with music, laughter and entertainment for people in all kinds of venues, using language that is comfortable for each audience.

In her professional theatrical career, Judy, a gifted and versatile artist, has inspired thousands of people from around the world. Her credits which number over 3000 presentations range from television, including special guest appearances with the late Danny Kaye (CBS-TV, Hollywood) and featured performances on CBC-TV Specials (such as, Wayne and Shuster, Music Canada Series, Christmas Specials, i.e. Frost at Midnight), to dinner theaters, concert stage and world-class conventions. Judy has been acclaimed in numerous publications, including Variety (New York), The Toronto Star, The Montreal Gazette, The Calgary Herald and The Vancouver Sun.
