The package has 16 great videos (40+ mins) that will take you into the art of remixing and sampling and help you to create your better, more original songs. Using a wide range of tools we show you how to do some of the most common tasks that will help you become a more rounded digital musician. Each video is a high quality AVI file so that you can see what's going on. Each video has high quality sound so you can hear what's going on. Each video has text commentary so that you know what's going on. 1 - Grab a loop with audio tools (3'30") - We show you how to rip a loop from a track using an audio tool like Goldwave. 2 - Grab a loop with Acid (3'50") - We show you how to rip a loop from a track using an audio tool like Acid Pro. 3 - Recycle Loops (1'55") - We show you how to recycle your old loops and give them a new burst of life using Propellorheads Recycle. 4 - Recycled loops in Reason (2'06") - How to utilise the loops from Recycle in DR Rex, a great tool in Propellorheads Reason. 5 - Manipulating with Beatcreator (2'16") - In this tutorial we run through some of the tricks that Beatcreator has to make your loops funkier. 6 - Using FL Slicer (4'48") - FL Slicer is built into FL Studio 4.5 and it has some excellent functions for pepping up your loops and samples. 7 - Create a drum hit with recycle (1'02") - We show you how to get a drum sample from a loop using Recycle. 8 - Create a drum hit with Beatcreator (0'42") - How to do the same thing with Beatcreator. 9 - Construct a new loop with FL (2'16") - Building onto your FL Slicer loop to create a brand new loop. 10 - Construct a new loop with Acid (0'46") - How the same process works in Acid. 11 - Combining Tracks in Acid (1'14") - How to merge to tracks together. Taken to it's extremet you can create a whole remix album like this. 12 - Edit a drum sample with audio tools (2'13") - How to clean up your samples so that they work as you expect in a tracker or sequencer. 13 - Reverse Reverb (1'01") - An example of adding effects to a existing sample to create a new sample. 14 - Tape Restoring (5'09") - In this project I restore a 20 year track that I found on a stretched tape. I then added new digital material on top of it to recreate the whole track. (files included on cd so you can try it) 15 - Creating Live Samples (4'16") - I run you through the process of making your own samples from scratch. Armed with just a pc, a microphone and a Tupperware box I show you how to get multiple samples from one basic tap on a box. 16 - Using your live samples (3'46") - How to use the sample we just created in Reason's NN19 Sampler and finally in FL Studio. I'll show you how to get a diverse range of sounds from just 1 sample created by tapping a plastic box. All the examples (50MB) used in the tutorials are on the DVD for you to experiment with.
