Jimmy Savwah stormed onto the recovery scene on New Yearâs Eve 1988 when he performed the 13th Step for the first time with his back-up singers "The Platitudesâ. What followed was a frenzied roller coaster ride into the star-studded world of 12 Step recovery, which included headlining huge events, tabloid scandals, and frequent television appearances. (If you believe any of this, well, letâs just say- âkeep coming back!â)

This CD contains historic recordings of the first time 13th Step was performed in public, and Jimmyâs outrageous appearance on late night TVâs The âDavid Better-Than Showâ (you know, the show with âPaul Shame-Based and the Worldâs Most Codependent Bandâ)

Today Jimmy lives a quiet life dedicated to âservice workâ, making sure heâs always available for the newcomer.
