âIf We Ever Need a Super Manâ is John Hunter Phillipsâ latest addition to his catalog of music, both original and interpretive.

As with his previous two CDs, âDiamonds On the Beachâ (2000) and âItâs About Timeâ (2006), Johnâ latest is self-produced along with Robert âBooâ English, and bears Johnâs signature harmonies. Heavily influenced by the works of Brian Wilson, Johnâs sterling output has oftentimes been compared to that of the famous Beach Boys.

Once again, this JHP original composition constitutes Johnâs fine voice(s) and his own harmonic arrangement at its best, with the promise of much more to follow.

David Floyd, Johnâs super talented friend and sequencer/arranger, lends his hand on this fine new recording. It is Davidâs orchestration on this song that lends a movie score and ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) flavor to this decidedly inspirational composition.
