Jon Wheatleyâs story is a little different than most musicians.
First of all, even though he plays sax, piano, and flute, he would be the last person to consider himself a musician. He says, âI only play for the love of the song. What song?
âAny song that inspires emotion. I just want to make people feel good.â.

Jon picked up a saxophone for the first time 7 years ago, at age 45. He always loved the smooth, rich tones of a sax, so he decided to find a mentor and conquer the saxophone. He learned his techniques from the very accomplished sax player, Jack Lancaster. As a busy owner of a small software company, he only had time to practice in the middle of the night. Hundreds of hours at practice and lack of sleep turned into hundreds of hours of pure enjoyment and musical experimentation.

The âAngelâ CD is a creation of original material written and performed by Jon.
Each song in the collection is designed make you think about love, or the love of life.
Youâll find a fresh mixture of sax, vocals, jazz, and R&B.

Jon's Philosophy: Music should not be unnecessarily complicated. A good song should give you an injection of positive feelings.
