If you like Johnny Paycheck or Hank Williams Jr. or just windsurfing, maybe someday I can meet you at the Maryhill Winery and we can light a campfire and listen to my music and have a bottle of Maryhill wine...and when you hear the song "Take Them Seals and Shove It", you'll know why I pay homage to all-sport fisherman. And you, and all the other American citizens including all Tribal people, should be a little more careful about taking too much fish out of the river, which is depleting the population of Salmon; man has been his own worst enemy for the salmon. The ecosystem was taking care of itself before man messed it up, I'm sorry to say. All we can hope for is to clean up our mess in the world. So, I hope some of these country-rock songs bring you a little love and joy in your life and some old memories of the ol' days on the Columbia River.
