Spiritual Journeys is an up-close and personal sharing of thoughts, emotions, and lessons learned by new thought spiritual musician Alan Ross Haynes. It is a mostly live album (9 live, 3 studio) incorporating favorites and new songs, including two cover songs. It is representative of the Country Folk Rockabilly Gospel sound that Alan has developed over the last ten years since focusing on spiritual music. Although he continues to write humorous and serious country folk songs, these songs of affirmation are the heart and soul of his musical message.
"Broken Chains", by Fred Bogert, is the lead song for a reason. It is a song of overcoming, tailor-made for Alanâs message and style. "Step By Step", by Chuck Pyle,is one of the most popular songs Alan has performed live.
New original songs include "Off A Cliff", a message of hope for the desperate and despairing. "As We Choose" is a prayer for guidance as we make our life decisions. "This Special Place" is a statement of thanks to the ministry that changed his life. "In Advance" is a Bible-based statement of gratitude and faith in the future.
"Happy Birthday, Mom" and "Three Shadows" are studio recordings that have been the most popular of all his songs.
This is an album built on love with the help of the music ministry built by Sue Kroupa Riley and Rev. Leddy Hammock. It is alive with energy and purpose.
