Dannon Nicks began playing music when a guitar was still taller than he was. Raised in western Colorado in a musical family, playing an instrument was an everyday activity. He learned his first three guitar chords from his father at age seven. His love of playing has led him to craft his debut album, âBeneath a Treeâ. With true to life lyrics and a soulful sound, Dannonâs first record shares his most intimate feelings with the world. Drawing on a wide range of influences from Donovan to Elvis Costello to Death Cab for Cutie to Ray LaMontagne, Dannon has created an acoustic yet electric sound uniquely his own.
