The California bay area has been the birth place of many groundbreaking artists. Recently, the name Cyrus has been talked about around the Bay as the artist to hear due to his original sound and charisma. Cyrus was raised in different parts of the Bay Area. With an environment stricken by poverty, drugs, and violence, he was haunted by the constant struggles of everyday street life. This is what drives him to be successful, and is also the inspiration for many of the songs he creates.
From an early age he found music to be his only salvation from a troubled upbringing. Artist that have inspired him are: Tupac Shakur for his connection and loyalty received from his fans, Bob Marley for being what he describes as a voice of god or prophet, and though he was not a musician Malcolm X influenced him by using his words as a weapon to change society. All of these legendary icons lived their art, and this is the most important influence on him. He has taken these different influences and used them to strengthen himself as a person as well as an artist. The result is a powerfully gripping and clear lyrical delivery assembled in a storytelling style, backed by beats that range from hard hitting to symphonic.
Cyrus is part and founder of the Ramier family. R.A.M.I.E.R., which stands for Renowned Artistic Mercenaries Inspiring Every Race. It is a collaboration of artist from many different fields and backgrounds sharing a common goal to inspire the world.
Ramier has been working independently to promote Cyrus at different venues throughout the country in order to gain exposure and expand his fan base. He uses his music to touch peopleâs lives and give them comfort by using his experiences as a soundtrack to life. It is through his versatility in which he will break societyâs barriers one track at a time.
