The music hums with the electric energy of Altan. Russ performed with Francie Mooney, father of Altanâs fiddler, Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, in Donegal at the Hiuidai Beagâs session in Bunbeg.
The CD churns with the propulsive rhythms of Lunasa. Russ jammed in Dingle with Donough Hennesey, the founding guitar player of Lunasa.
