George Washington(singer/songwriter)has been performing gospel, r&b, and jazz music for over thirty years. George and his three brothers(The Washington Brothers)were featured on many concert dates in the early seventies. George performed many with his mother, brothers, and sisters as the the Washington Family Singers, for about fifteen years. George began writing music in the mid nineteen eighties. George performed with several cover bands throughout the New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia areas. After many years of not performing, but continuing to write music George began producing his original music onto cassette and eventually compact disc. The current music project GWB George Washington Band Knocking on the door is a collection of songs written and co-written by George along with some cover song arrangements. Listen and enjoy!
