I am a singer, guitarist and songwriter. This c d was released a few years ago under the title Dead End Street. Even though I liked the original I felt that something was missing. This spring I decided to record two new songs with more of a traditional acoustic sound.
In this digitally remastered package we have removed two songs and replaced those with two new songs I had written Nickels and Dimes and The Little Things. Nickels and Dimes became the new title track.
This song reflects some the frustration felt by musicians when at times things seem to be going nowhere. A lot of other entertainers, including myself, have been given the advice to just let it go, not waste so much time playing clubs , or trying to promote their songs.
I think we owe it to ourselves to believe in our music and keep our dreams alive. My advice is become the best player or singer/songwriter you can be and keep at it.
I hope that you have as much fun listening to my music as I did making it.

Mike Bush was fortunate to be brought up in the American south when the classic rockabilly sounds of Memphis still reverberated through the region. The musical influences he absorbed in his youth stayed with him even as he migrated west just in time to catch the wave of country-rock and outlaw music taking hold at the time. During this era he began performing and honing his songwriting skills in earnest and his reputation began to grow in California and Oregon. In this compilation of his best songs he expresses his heartfelt emotions in an honest and direct style not often found in today's airplay. From the wistful
