Bucky Hayes is a Southern-bred, Brooklyn-based songwriter. He has released two solo albums since moving to NYC in 2005.
He fell into a great band by chance, the wild card that's always there. He met Matt Lenny, lead guitarist, at an open mic. They jammed and he joined Matt's rock band. There he met Sonny Ratcliff, drummer, and they became friends. Sonny went on to produce Bucky's second record, The Roux. To promote The Roux they went on tour: Bucky, Sonny, Matt, and bass player Bobby McCullough, Sonny's friend from ther home state of Virginia.
The tour was so much fun, and well received, that new tunes bubbled up, the band was named, and a new album surfaced.
