Hello guitar lovers. I enjoy playing all kinds of jazz and rock from Charlie Parker to Nirvana. I also teach guitar and play in two bands. Sometimes a student will want a solo guitar version of their favorite song, so I cook up these arrangements. They are complete with melody, chords and bass lines, all rolled into one guitar performance. I like playing this stuff when the band is not around. All the tunes are recorded live from start to finish. No fixing up. What you hear, is what I did.
Album notes
Somewhere In Time: I did one track on 12 string and the melody track was classical guitar. Two Rivers: A hauntingly beautiful Jeff Beck tune. Come Together was fun to do. The guitar is one pass straight through. My son Jeremy added the drums. Ordinary World is a Duran Duran tune and is one of my favorites.
