The self titled debut EP from singer songwriter, Tori Darke has been met with great interest from the country music industry and fans alike.

Released in March 2009, the first single released from the EP, Crawl shot straight into the Top 30 Country Tracks Chart at the #28 position and is continuing to climb.

Recorded with renowned musician and producer, Simon Johnson at his studio, the EP features some of Australiaâs leading musicians including Michel Rose, Mick Albeck, Duncan Toombs, Peter Cooper, Mike Carr, Rod Motby, Kelly Hope and Aleyce Simmonds.

In preparation for her debut release, Tori was thrilled to be able to song write with some of the countryâs finest songwriters including Allan Caswell, Drew McAlister and Roger Corbett.

During the past few years, Tori travelled extensively to perform at talent quests throughout Australia in a bid to hone her skills and work her way towards her ultimate goal â releasing her own songs.

Tori was named the 2007 Champion of the Australian Country Talent Search (ACTS) which has been previously won by Felicity Urquhart and Travis Collins. In 2008 she was named CCMA Junior Champion for Best Young Talent. She was also fortunate to attend the Camerata College of Country Music in July 2008.

Tori was delighted when she won the 2008 Toyota âMatonâ Talent Search at the Toyota National Country Music Muster. After winning she was invited to perform as the Australian Ambassador at the Merritt Mountain Country Music Festival in Canada in July 2009. Tori then went on to win The 2008 Queensland Champion of Champion Song writing Award.

In January 2009 she attended the prestigious CMAA College of Country Music, and followed up her graduation being announced as a 2009 Toyota Star Maker Grand Finalist.

The debut single, Crawl, featured as a video clip also charted in the Top 30 on the Country Music Channel and seen on (CMC Foxtel)now.
