Influenced by a love of British Invasion bands like the Rolling Stones & The Who (and Britpop kings Oasis) plus Yanks The Byrds & Tom Petty (that little bit of country), Rockheart has developed a sound some say reminiscent of the Velvet Underground, T Rex and Neil Young. We say relax and listen.
Core band members Norman âStormâ Sly and Susan Collins Sly have been playing together since 1996 when guitarist/songwriter Sly picked Susan up in a taxi in Monterey, CA. He was looking for a drummer and she fell in love with the songs (and later the songwriter) and was inspired to write songs as well.
