Stillwell was formed in the spring of 2004 by songwriters, Chuck Conser and John Holt. The blend of Chuck's top 40 pop rock style and John's tasteful classic rock leads, created the foundation for the beginnings of a solid rock band. With the addition of Jarrett Creasy's melodic bass lines and Alan Slimak's hard hitting drums, they have managed to create a rock sound to be heard as well as experienced. Stillwell has been featured at places like T.T. Reynolds in Fairfax, Virginia and The Pub in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The have also been played on Washington DC's, DC101. Working with producers like Scott Spelbring from Dragon Fly Studios, Jared Bartlett from Stage Right Studios and Ben McCall from Assembly Line Studios, they have captured the emotional power of songs like "Your Only Son" and "All the Lonely Places". Continuing to blend rock with emotional elements, Stillwell finds itself appealing to a wide range of music lovers from all over.
