Vendetta Valentine formed in February 2006 as a musical and artistic collaboration between Thomas M (vocals), D Powell (Lead Guitar, Drum Machines), and Anna Judd (Keyboards, Artwork). The band blends the guitar crunch of indie rock, the synthesizer feel of electro pop, and punk lyrics to create their highly praised and original sound. In September 2006 KROQ Los Angeles picked Vendetta Valentine as one of the top 10 unsigned bands in Southern California, out of more than 2,600 entries, and put their song "Let It Burn" into current rotation. The band will be shooting a music video in Laguna Beach for "Let It Burn" in October.
Vendetta Valentines first collection of songs, a self-titled 5 song EP, was released on May 1st available from CDBABY, and has sold across the U.S, the U.K., Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, and Italy. The full self-titled cd will soon be available on iTunes. The band records, engineers, and produces all the music on their own.
The drawings of Anna Judd feature her original character Ms. Vendetta in a number of provocative Valentine gone wrong and other scenarios that have captured the imagination of indie kids and adults alike.
