Kubie "Koup" McHerrin is one of the most natural voices in today's R&B scene. Growing up on both coasts (Philly and LA), he eventually ended up attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Koup has been a featured singer in numerous bands over the past few years, but until recently had not recorded a solo project. Recent recordings and performances include Sara Hickman, The Escovedo Project, Jamez (www.jamez.com), and Stephanie Mills. His voice can also be heard on numerous jingles and commercials. Koup's self-titled debut showcases his jazz, old-school R&B, and hip-hop influences. Koup currently lives in Los Angeles where he performs locally and records with Studio Z Productions.
