With near to 30yrs of experience in the Music & Theatre business, working with some of the biggest names in the Rock, Pop & Country fields, both in the studio & live on stage, fulfilling other peoples dreams. "Dragonflies Dream in Sepia" is the hard earned realization of his own dream. Brought up on Jazz, Classical, Theatre, & Rock, Katatonic's musical influences are varied & dynamic, this is evident upon listening to his work. Born into Basie, Ellington, Dorsey & Sinatra, weened on Verdi, Puccini, Louie & Ella, formed his opinions of life on Hendrix, The Beatles, Montrose & Traffic & expanded his mind with NIN, The Prodigy, Underworld, Helmet, Bauhaus & Everything But The Girl.
Katatonic composes music that is complex & lush. Subtle melodic textures, layers of rhythm & haunting piano's push you through a genre-bending fusion of Breakbeats, Jazz, Funk & DnB (and just a touch of House for good measure).
