Spanning the decades of the 70's,80's,90's, and todays music. The KLOCKS Greatest hit's chronicle an aging cover band longing for a hit with clever satire with "Spinal Tap" references, and a dance re-mix of the Classic Rock Anthem "Time".

The KLOCKS Greatest Hits

Time - 2005 (David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nicholas Mason, Rick Wright)

The KLOCKS dance remake of the classic Pink Floyd song. Available only on this special edition âGreatest Hitsâ collection. (Not available in stores)
Clocks Sample used by permission of EMI Records London.

When Worlds Collide - 1997 (Bill Caisse, Angel Cropper, Kim Day)

Previously available only on the MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK of Venus & Mars.
Richie Guy, producer / screenplay writer died of a broken heart on the release day of this picture. Ironically so has everyone who has seen the movie, drawing a strong cult following of suicidal loved starved baby boomers. Brentâs vocal performance landed the song a Grammy nomination in the Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or for Television category, , but was over shadowed by Diane Warren (songwriter) for "Because You Loved Me" (Theme from Up Close & Personal) performed by Céline Dion

Highway Drive-2002 (Bill Caisse, Eric Swanson)

From the album âHold On Lucyâ
The KLOCKS hit the road as they added southern rock guitar guru Bill Caisse to the line up with the demise of the Texas legends âThe American Peddlersâ
See https://www.tradebit.com which conveniently omits Billâs reign as the guitarist for the group from 1981-1993.

Itâs Amazing - 2003 (Bill Caisse, Eric Swanson)

From the album âYou Can Tune a Piano, But You Canât Tuna Turduckenâ
Best know for the jingle line for a popular pharmaceutical companyâs Erectile Dysfunction pill.
(Itâs Amazing, that I never felt this way before...)
Produced by L.A. native Mel Guenat, who says âThis ballad is Amazing.â Asked for comment, lead singer Brent Fields said âItâs Amazing the way our fans have embraced this Amazing song. Just Amazing.â

Problems - 1982 (Ed Doran)

From the now out of print LP âWorking Menâ
The song has out lived the rest of the albums work because of the experimental CD Single. We were lucky to save this rare version for the fans of the original KLOCKS line up. Some say the song influenced Colin Hay's Sting-like, reggae sounding version of âDown Underâ even if they had no idea what a "Vegemite" sandwich was.

The Pull of Your Love - 1999 (Bill Caisse, Angel Cropper, Kim Day)

From the ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK of âCircus Smirkusâ
I was dreamin' when I wrote this forgive me if it goes astray. The âDrummer Formerly Known as Mackâ delivers an astounding performance in true Prince style, as Brent explores his darker side.

You Dog - 2004 (Bill Caisse)

From the CD âGet a Lawyerâ
Inspired by the breakup of a close friends 20 year marriage, and other legal battles. This songâs target audience is anyone who has been screwed over by a loved one, and then again by their lawyer. The driving dance R&B groove leaves plenty of room for dancing alone, or with a great deal of space between partners.

Close Your Eyes - 1992 (Ed Doran)

From the LP âSurf Countryâ
With the popularity of âGone Countryâ artists of the 90âs, The KLOCKS served up this ârunawayâ hit, mixing the contemporary country sound with a little California Surf music. This song was inspired by Edâs wife Margie as well as his love for traditional Country and Western Lyrics.

Dot Dot Dot - 1986 (Bill Caisse, Brent Fields)

From the out of print LP âDing Dong, the Witch is Deadâ
The lyrics mysteriously came after smoking a âdubeâ and watching âThe Dark Side of Ozâ at a party. They became increasingly interested in Dorothy, much the same way Lewis Carroll was of Alice. (Alice in Wonderland) Neither Brent nor Bill will admit to writing the song, and both have stuck to the story that the words magically appeared on the back of a napkin from a Four Seasons restaurant.

White Out Front - 1980 (The KLOCKS)

Only available here on this greatest hitâs CD.
This is obviously a spoof on the 80âs classic by AC/DC âBack in Blackâ
The main riffs of the song are played backwards and upside down, which inspired the title. The aging vampire character was the obvious choice to bring the âPasty White Gothâ image to mind vs. the âMacho Badassâ character of the AC/DC hit.
