The Big Easy Not So Easy is a collection of the true life stories as seen through the eyes of former New Orleans policeman Bernard Butler Jr.; a twenty year, highly decorated veteran of the City of New Orleans Police Department. His accomplishments speak for themselves; being a former Veteran of Foreign Wars, State of Louisiana outstanding officer of the Year, and the City of New Orleans Policeman of the Year. He once even saved a man from drowning.
This book is a compilation of events that actually occurred, while he worked the streets of New Orleans. The stories are written in an autobiography format because Officer Butler is only reporting incidents where he was personally involved. Not only is he reporting incidents that occurred, he also tags a series of events that led to him being ostracized by the very police department he once so admirably served.
